Frequently Asked Questions

For milestone birthdays (30th, 50th, etc.), we suggest 6–8 weeks’ notice so you have time to plan the menu and send invitations. For casual birthday dinners, 3–4 weeks is usually enough. Saturday evenings are our busiest — book those early.

Birthday celebrations at Glen Eagle range from intimate dinners of 20 in The View to larger parties of up to 200 in the Albion Room. For surprise parties, we have a separate entrance so the guest of honour doesn’t see anything until the big reveal.

It depends on the vibe you’re going for. Cocktail-style service works great for mingling parties, while a seated dinner with a set menu suits more formal celebrations. Our kitchen is flexible — we’ve done everything from BBQ buffets to three-course plated meals. We’ll build a menu around your budget and preferences.

The patio is a fantastic option for birthday celebrations, especially for sunset cocktail hours. It accommodates up to 50 guests. We always have an indoor backup ready, so if the weather changes we move everyone inside without missing a beat.

Of course — most birthday hosts do. Bring your own cake, cupcakes, or dessert and we’ll handle the plating, candles, and timing. If you’d rather leave it to us, our kitchen can prepare a custom dessert as well.
